Jason McMillan

Jason is a founding owner of Compass South, Inc., bringing over 30 years of industry experience and a passion for connecting the company’s brokerage, appraisal, and forestry divisions into one cohesive platform. He plays a leading role with Compass Land Partners, guiding the Compass South and Compass West land sales teams and driving growth across the organization.

Jason works closely with investors to craft and execute successful land disposition strategies and is recognized for his expertise in land sales and acquisitions throughout the Southeast. His career began with American Forest Management, where he spent eight years before joining Copper Station Holdings as Director of Sales and Timberland Management. In 2007, he partnered with Travis Avant and Tony Watry to establish Compass South, Inc. Jason earned his Forestry degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia.
