Foundation and Legacy
Compass South, Inc. (CSI) was founded in 2007 as a consulting firm that offered land brokerage, appraisal, and forestry services. Since its inception, CSI has been the parent company of Compass South Land Sales (CSLS), Compass South Appraisals (CSA) and Compass South Forestry (CSF), which have all achieved remarkable milestones, including brokering over a billion dollars in sales and acquisitions, delivering over 18,000 appraisals, and countless timber cruises and harvests for clients.
Much of this success has come from our work with institutional clients, such as TIMOs, REITs, and other large investment landowners, who have trusted us to manage their portfolios with expertise and precision. Over time, we expanded our reach from the southern United States to the western states, reflecting the growing demand for our services.

Compass Land Partners (CLP) is comprised of the three founding partners of CSI, along with two senior CSLS partners, who focus exclusively on project-level clients.
